Key Feature: "One-Tap" Event Check In:
The "One-Tap" Event Check In feature allows users to check into events posted by clubs with just one tap. Clubs can track attendance and download the list to a .csv file. This feature eliminates the need for forms to track attendance, saving time for both event hosts and attendees.
How "One-Tap" Event Check In Works for Attendees
1) Create an Account: Users create an account with Student Link and add their name.
2) Enter Academic Email: Users enter their academic (.edu) email so it can be recorded upon checking in to an event.
3) One-Tap Sign In: Users can now check into events by scanning a check-in QR code provided by an event host.
How "One-Tap" Event Sign In Works for Event Hosts
1) Create an Event: Create an event in Student Link from the club admin panel.
2) Access Event Check Ins: Tap "Event Check Ins" from the club admin panel options and select the event you wish to track. This takes you to the event check-ins dashboard for the selected event.
3) Generate QR Code: Press "QR Code" to pull up a QR code that users can scan to access the "One-Tap" Event Check In button for your event.
4) Scan and Sign In: Have event attendees scan the QR code and press the large green "Check In" button.
5) View and Download: View your check-ins and download the list to a .csv file from the event check-ins dashboard.
